TL;DR: We don't collect your data. Your shopping lists are stored in your private iCloud account. We can't see them, and we don't want to.
Grocery Collab stores the following data in your private iCloud container:
Important: This data is stored in your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit Private Database. We (the developers) cannot access, view, or retrieve this data. Only you can access your data through your Apple ID.

If you choose to sign in with Apple, we receive a unique anonymous identifier to enable iCloud sync. You can choose to hide your email using Apple's relay service. We do not store this on external servers.
We do not share, sell, or transfer your data to any third parties. The only sharing that occurs is household sharing—if you invite family members, they can see shared lists. This is a feature you control.
You can delete all your data anytime:
